Russell Co. Rural Water District #1 Directed to Correct Problems

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued an administrative order against Russell County Rural Water District #1, Russell. The order instructs the district to take corrective actions to address problems with its water systems to ensure drinking water quality, and to pay a $677 fine for violating state public water supply regulations.

The order is subject to appeal to the Secretary of Health and Environment.
