About the Lodging Safety & Sanitation Program
The Kansas Department of Health and Environments vision is 'healthy Kansans living in safe and sustainable environments'. One of the basic services that accomplish this vision is ensuring that safe and sanitary lodging establishments are available for Kansans and visitors to the state. The Lodging Safety and Sanitation Program (LSSP) inspects, regulates and licenses approximately 790 lodging establishments in Kansas.
