Educational packets of information will be provided, by the Kansas Council on Fitness, to every participating student and teacher. Educational materials provided focus on adolescent physical activity, nutrition and safety. A national, non-profit advocacy organization that serves as the collective voice for promoting quality, daily physical education programs for America's youth.

CDC
The School Health Index is a self-assessment and planning tool that will enable schools to 1) identify the strengths and weaknesses of your school's health promotion policies and programs, 2) develop an action plan for improving student health, and 3) involve teachers, parents, students, and the community in improving school policies and programs.
