Kids are looking for entertainment. As a teacher, you know this all too well. You need that extra bit of flash and color to keep their attention. Without it, you've lost 'em.
And just as your lessons have to be innovative and fresh, your classroom's got to evolve with the unit you're teaching. Keep them guessing. Kindle their curiosity.
So plaster your classroom with messages about the environment. And let them know you get it.
