Waste Management

Make A Difference

You can directly affect the environment - just by managing your trash!

We know - trash isn't at the top of your list of things to think about. After all - it's trash. To a lot of people that means "Not my problem."

But there are ways you can directly affect the environment, just by managing your trash. It's called source reduction, and what it means is this: the less trash you generate in the first place, the less energy used to recycle it or soil used to bury it.

And the idea is simple. Use less material to get the job done - before recycling.

If you take an honest look at how you do things, you'll likely find ways to prevent waste through source reduction: reduce, reuse, donate or exchange.

Think about it. That way, everyone wins.
