Complete The CircleYou're environmentally-conscious. You understand the importance of recycling. You're doing your part, right?
Recycling newspapers, cans and glass is important, but did you know there's something else you can do to "complete the circle?" Something you're doing anyway - shop.
Think about it. We've got to create a market for the products we recycle. We've got to make good on the promise of a better earth we make to ourselves each time we recycle.
Because recycling without buying recycled cancels out the good you've done.
It's not just paper napkins anymore. There are thousands of products out there made from recycled materials, and as consumer demand and technology grow, the numbers will only get bigger.
Wonder what you've got that's made from recycled materials? For starters, how about cameras, hammocks, kitty litter, carpet, fencing, car bumpers, comic books, blankets, sheds.the list goes on and on. You'd be surprised.
And that's the point. Recycling provides the material to create these products; buying recycled creates the market for them. Complete the circle. |
