"Kansas Don't Spoil It!" Calendar Contest
The winning student artwork for the 2008 Kansas Don't Spoil It! calendar has been selected . The winning students will be recognized by Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Rod Bremby at the Capitol November 9.
Recycling, composting and keeping litter in its place are among the many ways we keep Kansas clean. Each year, a Kansas Don't
Spoil It!” calendar is created featuring the artwork of grade school
and high school students from across the state. We look for drawings that demonstrate the importance of good
environmental practices and things everyone can do to preserve the
beauty and natural resources of Kansas. Winning entries are
featured in our annual wall calendar that will be distributed
throughout the state.
All of this and more is a part of our annual "Kansas Don't Spoil It!" Calendar Contest.
