State Essay Winners Announced
Eleven Kansas students were selected winners in a statewide essay for KDHE’s Choose Respect initiative. The
11 winners will each receive an Apple I Pod Shuffle MP-3 player, and have the opportunity to participate in the
production of a youth podcast about healthy relationships. Once completed, the podcast will be launched nationally
through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Choose Respect Initiative. To learn more,
