List of Individuals With Findings of Abuse, Neglect, or Exploitation

Federal law prohibits the employment in a nursing facility of an individual who has been found guilty of abuse, neglect or exploitation by a court of law; or have had a finding entered into the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Before allowing an individual to serve as a nurse aide, a facility must receive registry verification that the individual has met competency evaluation requirements. To access the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry click on the following link: www.ksnurseaidregistry.org.

This list does not include individuals who are prohibited due to those criminal convictions listed in KSA 39-970 and KSA 65-5117. For further information concerning the laws relating to the criminal record check requirements contact Melinda Reynard-Lindsay at (785) 296-8628.
