HealthQuest Health Center

Marathon Health

The State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) has contracted with Marathon Medical StaffHealth to open the new HealthQuest Health Center in Topeka. Attached is the announcement and a poster highlighting the new health center. Additional communications will be sent out to employees on how to access health care at the Center when we get closer to the opening in May 2019.

The HealthQuest Health Center operated by Marathon Health will be staffed by with a physician, two nurse practitioners, a mental health counselor, a registered nurse, and three medical assistants. The Center is completely separate from State of Kansas and the State Employee Health Plan. Marathon Health ensures the privacy and confidentiality of individual information at all times. The same rules that protect an individual's privacy at a local physician's office protect your information at the health center.

The Center is open to all employees, spouses and dependent children over age 2 that have medical coverage under the SEHP. SEHP members will need to make an appointment and bring their insurance card to prove eligibility for service. The new HealthQuest Health Center is a pilot program and additional locations may be considered in future years if this proves as successful as expected.
