Disease Investigation Guidelines

These protocols were written to provide technical assistance with local surveillance and disease investigation. They contain not only disease specific information, but also sample letters, reporting forms, sample communication sheets and other tools to assist the local public health department.

These protocols have been reviewed by KDHE for content and should be used by local health department staff when reportable disease information is needed. The protocols are dynamic, and will be revised as needed.
