Bill Bider, director of the Bureau of Waste Management at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, assists crop artist Stan Herd with laying down more than 20,000 former Kansas Don’t Spoil It! calendar entries. Herd created the 2008 Earth Day collage on the Landon Arena floor at Topeka’s Expocentre to promote recycling.
