2019 Kansas Arthritis Program – RFP

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment's Kansas Arthritis Program is requesting proposals from community-based organizations (see eligibility requirements) to apply for funding to support projects that address arthritis management in Kansas. Projects will be designed to implement CDC recommended Arthritis-Appropriate Evidence-Based Interventions (AAEBIs) to improve arthritis management and quality of life for adults with arthritis. Proposed projects must be evidence-based, data-driven, and align with project requirements. It is anticipated that 1-3 organizations will be selected and funded through this initiative, ranging from $5,000 to $24,000 per locality.

Interested organizations should review the entire Request for Proposal prior to completing and submitting the application Organizations interested in applying may wish to coordinate with one another to ensure that only one application per county is submitted.

To receive consideration for the Kansas Arthritis Program mini grant, applications must be received via email by close of business on Friday, November 22nd. It is anticipated that funding awards will be announced by December 2nd via email. Development of funding agreements will be initiated upon the funding announcements.
